in typical position with pleopods beating during "hovering", visible the gut partially filled, the red light organ on the eye, the position of the first antennae, the beating pleopods and slightly bent downwards telson - the filtering basket is in the closed status during pump filtering in abundant plankton (gut well filled to 3/4th of its length) - predominantly on alive phytoplankton (gastric mill is light green, hepatopancreas is dark green)
